How it Works
Do all late packages get a refund? No. There are many, many exceptions that each carrier has in place, some easier to navigate than others. The good news is we worry about that for you. These exceptions can be anything from weather delays to special zip codes to seasonality, our least favorite being the holiday season when no refunds are given.
How can I verify my FedEx account will work with PackageFox? It is very easy to verify if we can work with your FedEx account and the entire process can be done online. There is no extra cost or anything special, the account just needs access to the “FedEx Reporting Online” and instructions can be found here.
How can I verify my UPS account will work with PackageFox? It is very easy to verify if we can work with your UPS account as we just need access to “Quantum View Manage” and instructions can be found here. If your account does not have access all you need to do is call UPS to have it added, there is no cost.
How long does it take to get my refund? Depending on the carrier and the type of account you have with them, your late package refund will be credited back in a few days.
What if I use a 3rd party shipping tool? This is very rarely a problem but depends on the application and how it submits the data to FedEx and UPS. If you want us to look at any specific application, just contact us and we’d be happy to work it out for you.
Do I need to do anything differently? No, that’s the beauty of it. Once you’re registered, you simply go about your normal course of business while we hunt down your refunds. There is no change to your routine, just less hassle and less shipping costs.
Can I do this myself? It’s certainly an option if you have the time and resources. Our customers find it to be a frustrating endeavor as typically less than 10% of their total shipments qualify for a refund. Yet in order to find that small percentage, you need to manually audit 100% of your shipments. On top of that, the carriers don’t make it easy on you. You need to review their service guarantee on each shipment and identify where they actually failed to deliver on their promise, then actually file and follow up on your claim. Why do you need my shipping login credentials? Our technology uses your shipping carrier login information to first safely and securely access the data we need to audit for refunds, and then to actually initiate the claims process to get your refunds.
